Politics: Vote Not Fight – Tinubu Urges Electorate.

Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly has admonished voters to exercise their voting rights free of rancour and violence in the forthcoming general elections.

Tinubu made the appeal on Wednesday January 30, 2018 during the Youths and Women Empowerment/Enlightment Program tagged “Appreciation 2019” held at CokerAguda Local Council Development Area, a program put together to say thank you to the people of Lagos Central Senatorial District for their support of the government of All Progressive Congress (APC) and her representative at the Senate over the years.

Despite loosing votes in the area in the past elections, Tinubu said she’s duty bound to ensure people are well represented because it is their right. The Senator who showered encomiums on the government of CokerAguda LCDA for doing a marvelous job at enthrenching good governance at the grassroots used the occasion to appeal to voters to go about exercising their franchise without any form of violence during the February 16th general elections.

In her welcome address, the Council Chairman, Hon. Abolanle Akinyemi-Obe, unbehalf of her co-host, Hon. Dr. Ahmed Apatira, the Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA thanked the Distinguished Senator for providing a good representation for Lagos Central Senatorial District at the Senate. She also appreciated the electorates for their support while urging them to do it again in the February 16th Presidential/Senatorial elections to re-elect Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

Empowerment tools and cash as Small Business Start-up Capital were donated to the people of the Senatorial District.
